Big dog showed us her handbrake turn skills, very impressive!
After seeing Alan Head we went to SMC in Worthing to buy a new transmitter - and saw some tottie on the way...
Oops, and another!
And some cyclists on some nice big bouncy bikes
Tranny purchased, we headed up to Mill Hill to meet Alan Head, his pal Colin and the gang of pilots that inhabit the hill. Oh, and the surprising variety of models!
Check out this tiny little thing! Didn't see it fly but I bet it's nippy!
It is called a Plouf and does fly very well, a lot of fun all built from scratch from an A4 plan. Mine is a modified version with an over head wing and convential tail. The original is a mid wing with a V tail.
And here it is on a beautiful scale job, lurvely!
I haven't seen a gull wing in a while - bit battered but very nice!
Then there was this thing. Sling thing we'll call it, it's launched but swinging around which rockets it to 50m high - no shit!
Nice little hawk, sadly didn't fly but looks the part.
Check out the crazy Sabre! Powered by a nifty ducted fan which wizzed it around the sky quite nicely
The wind died off so we had some light wind combat - I claim full responsibility for the dummy that caused Alan & Colin to take each other out! Yeah mate.
Left to Right:
Colin, Alan, rocket glider man and lurking in the background the ever camera shy Mr Nic.
