When we got there two of them were flying these HUGE glassfibre jobs with computer radios that could launch a space shuttle, we wondered whether aerials to them are what cars compensate for over here?
This beauty must have been 3m big! Please tell me if you know what it is - I want one!
This thing shrieked it's way accross the sky very nicely, didn't see it do any aerobatics but I'm sure it could.
Ain't this luuuuurvly? We didn't see it fly but mate - it looks gorgeous!
Again, didn't see this fly - if you Multiplex guys read this could you email me and tell me what the models are please?
I would have liked to see this thing go, perhaps a little Dynamic Soaring? Suit you sir!!!
The wizzy thing in the air
The beast enters the sky
Can't quite see it but the crow-brakes are out and this thing's coming in...
Once we'd stopped drooling and feeling massively jealous, we decided to show 'em what for - M@ launches his beast.
What? No glassfibre? Where's the rest of it? - The lads found our Mambas peculiar but very interesting.
Need a hand? Someone staggers off with his pride and joy.
Then they were off, it looked so funny watching them all negociating the gate with these massive gliders on their shoulders!!!
We caught up with them drinking Tequila and eating sweeties at their camp in the carpark, there was 3 campers - each rammed full of all sorts of models. Cool holiday or what???
This delta, called 'PIBROS' grabbed Nicks eye, a little handlaunch job, very nice too.Guys, if your reading this - swap some of my foam for yours? Awww, go on!!!
So hurray for the Multiplex boys - see you soon (and give us a go next time???!!!!)
